Choosing a Career

It's a lovely day, you are enjoying some lofi music and working on a carrier option, you are passionate about instead of pursuing some traditional carrier option such as a doctor or an engineer, but there is a twist "Pados Wali Aunty" is here to visit your mom, your mom asks you to come out of your room and greet her, you are obviously not in the mood to meet her but you can't turn your mom down, "Aunty" asks some obvious questions regarding your well being and some other stuff. After this, she brings up the most-awaited question "Beta Kya Kaar Rhe Hoo Aaj Kaal?" and you tell her about the carrier option you are pursuing but the problem here is you are pursuing something she never heard of so she says "Beta Yeh Saab Chodo Sarkari Naukari Ki Tyari Kaar Lo, Voh Ahuja Uncle Ka Ladka Patwari Lagg Gya Hai, Agle Week Shaadi Hai Uski, Tum Bhi Naukri Lagg Jao Aur Fir Shaadi Karva Denge Tumhari".

You all will agree that everyone once in their lifetime has faced the same situation at least once in their lifetime. Now, some of you might think I am against government jobs but that is not the case here, pursuing a government job or any other carrier option is a very good option but it's not worthy of giving up something you are passionate about or love doing just because a random person demotivated or didn't agree with it.

Choosing a carrier option is one of the toughest tasks because it's not something you can't change every day the way you feel. But we make this task even tougher by considering the views of someone who isn't even a stakeholder for your carrier. You should always consider the viewpoint of your parents or someone who is an expertise in the field you are going to pursue and ignore every other third person who is judging you for pursuing it.

There are some mature or brave enough kids who try something of the box but are dragged down by the typical Indian society with the words "Beta Tumse Se Nhi Ho Payga Yeh Sab".

People do not take into consideration is that at least the kid is not sitting ideal and scrolling reels or being unproductive throughout the day. For all those pursuing something out of the box "Go Little Rockstar" and make your dreams come true. The question still remains "when will the children have enough freedom to pursue whatever they want?"

The above case was for the kids who have already figured out everything, but the situation is even worse for the kids who haven't figured out anything and are being judged by society every day, every minute, for all those kids I would like to share a piece of I received a long time ago "Be yourself and explore things, you will definitely find something you are passionate about " till then just live every moment you have.

Hope this blog helps the kids out here lacing motivation to pursue something they love.
